Hello, I’m Rachel! I am a wedding, portraits, and events photographer based in Minneapolis. I’ve been a professional photographer since 2012, and have experience photographing over 300 weddings – not one has ever felt like work. I think I have the best job in the world. My approach is to capture the story of your wedding day, from start to finish. Because no two couples (or weddings) are exactly alike, I customize my approach specific to you. From the moment we connect, it’s my goal to help you feel at-ease. I'll help you plan your day, work with you to find the best locations for photos, guide you through poses, and we'll make it fun!

My photography is crisp and clean, with true-to-life styles and colors. I love natural light and the outdoors, but I also love when I get to be technical with off-camera lighting in dark and challenging spaces. I use a variety of shooting styles, which include traditional and contemporary portraits, photojournalism, in-the-moment candids, and closeups of every detail. I’m hands-on and detail oriented, but I’m also laid back and fun-loving. What I look forward to most about each and every wedding is creating a custom collection of photos. I won’t just photograph your wedding – I’ll capture your unique wedding day story.

    My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Rachel as our wedding photographer! She was willing to accommodate our 2-day schedule, with photos at multiple locations including a courthouse and a brewery, and really listened to our vision for the events. She was great at making us and our guests feel comfortable (and look good) in photos. She’s a kind person and worked well with our other vendors to coordinate timing. We really appreciated that she sent us lots of preview photos quickly. It took a while to get all the final photos but they were worth waiting for, and the keepsake box she sent with our USB was so special. We’d highly recommend hiring Rachel!

    Ok! Get on her books now because I cannot say enough positive things about Rachel! (As if her photos don't speak for themselves?! Her work is stunning!) Rachel met with me 1:1 and I was super impressed with her knowledge and organization. She was the MVP vendor of my wedding day!
