My name is Myles Katherine. I'm a photographer to my core and I am so lucky to have the opportunity to do what I love! Through my job, I have met so many incredible couples, artists, models, families and friends. After living in Portland, Oregon from 2012-2019, I relocated to Richmond, Virginia. However, I'm open to traveling anywhere and everywhere! I cannot make it through the day without coffee, my cat and (obviously) my cameras. I'm looking forward to being a part of your unique love story and capturing it in a beautiful, unconventional way. -Myles Katherine

I shoot both film and digital photography, though I have a deep love for film photography. Using a variety of film cameras such as the Holga, Contax 645, Polaroid 600 and various 35 mm cameras, I'm always striving to create completely original images. My particular expertise is with double exposures, I'm obsessed!

    Myles was our photographer for our wedding at the VA Living Museum and she exceeded our expectations (which were already high after looking through her website)! She really captured the joy of the day in such an artful and unique way. The film pictures were a particular highlight, so beautiful and elevated beyond your typical wedding photos! Myles was able to incorporate the natural landscape of the museum grounds into the photos as well. I usually feel pretty awkward getting my picture taken but Myles and her husband Chris made us and our family feel so comfortable there was no awkwardness at all! It was a privilege to work with Myles!
