I'm Melissa (she/her) and I'm so glad you're here. I've been photographing couples in love since 2019 and it's truly an honor to capture your love during one of the most important times of your life. One of my favorite memories in childhood was sneaking away with my sister and looking through old photo albums, especially our parent's wedding album. Providing those happy and emotional memories for my clients is one of my favorite parts of wedding photography. I pride myself on offering my couples a creative, high-touch, seamless wedding photography experience from start to finish. I look forward to meeting you and your partner!

My photography philosophy isn't simple in practice, but it is straightforward. I believe in client experience above all else. Your engagement and wedding day is much more than just a photo session, it's an experience. I strive to make it seamless and stress-free, while making you look and feel your best. I am here to capture the wedding that fits you and your partner; ditching the traditions that don't serve you and making your own as you continue on your journey as a couple. My goal on your wedding day is to capture the truest of emotions; both during the in-between and posed moments.

    When my husband and I started planning our wedding, having beautiful photos was at the very top of both of our lists. For us, a photographer came before all other vendors, and we both agreed it was simply not an area in which we’d cut corners. When I cam across Melissa’s photos, I immediately knew she was obviously the style and vibe we were going for. Within a matter of seconds, I was blown away by the amount of details her pictures had, and within a matter of minutes, I was sending her a message praying to the heavens above that she was available for our date. I could not recommend Melissa enough. Her photos are absolutely stunning - they speak for themselves. But what you can’t see by scrolling through her galleries or social media pages, is the absolute GEM behind the camera. Melissa is professional, fun, energetic, happy - and she brings that energy with her through every single click of her shutter. She was so good at guiding and directing us throughout all our photos — and you’re hearing this from a couple who is extremely awkward posing for pictures! She made us feel beyond comfortable — confident! She even made a super impression on our families and wedding party. They all made a point to tell me how much they enjoyed her throughout the day! We had so much fun with her and she captured us and our wedding day absolutely perfectly. Melissa goes above and beyond and truly listens to what her couples want out of their pictures. She managed to get every single picture I could have ever hoped for— and then some! We absolutely love both our engagement and wedding photos, and they will be on display in our home forever. I could not thank her enough. I can guarantee you, you will not be disappointed in hiring Melissa! She was the easiest, and by far the best, vendor we hired! I’d hire her again any day!

    I have worked with Melissa in various capacities and could not recommend her enough! We first connected when I was looking to get new branding photos for my business and she did a beautiful job capturing everything I needed and wanted, and making the shoot fun. Shortly after, she also photographed a Mastermind event I hosted for me and my attendees to get details, decoration, as well as headshots and fun group shots. As a photographer myself, I have also hired Melissa to shoot me with for multiple weddings and associate shoot for a few photoshoots as well. Melissa is always friendly, professional, and prepared, and simply a joy to work with. She does incredible work and I always enjoy working with her. I highly recommend her to anyone!
