I’m Lauren, and i’m a wedding, couples, and family photographer based in Connecticut. My style blends natural candor, a touch of fine art, and posing when needed. I focus on capturing genuine expressions and interactions. My work balances color and black-and-white images, enveloped in a soft, warm aesthetic that highlights intimacy and real connection. I look forward to capturing your moments and celebrating your stories through my lens.

What sets me apart as a photographer is a blend of my education, unique style, and commitment to delivering your photos quickly. I earned my BFA in Photography from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where I developed both a strong technical foundation and a distinctive artistic vision. My education has given me the skills and confidence to capture moments in a way that feels both authentic and beautifully composed.     Lauren was extremely professional, kind, and helped us out setting up chairs even when that was not part of her job. She was willing to help and made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Our wedding photos came out beautifully and I’m so glad we chose her for our special day!     I am the mother of the groom and am proud of the exceptional photography and exquisite pictures that Lauren Helsing captured of Greg and Melissa's wedding in the gorgeous setting in the Colorado Rockies! Lauren was professional, creative and managed to get wonderful smiles from my son, who throughout his life did not like to smile for the camera! She walked through prairie grass to get to the cliff where the ceremony took place, perched at precarious angles to capture a special vantage and delivered the most gorgeous photos I have ever seen of a wedding ...and in record time! She did have not only the surrounding snow-capped mountains but a stunning bride and handsome groom as subject matter. She caught them standing and sitting on their jeep, decked in white for her and black for him cowboy boots and hats, doing a dip to the crowds delight before a waterfall and so many treasured moments preserved in our memories and photos. Most important, she captured the love and joy that shone on their faces for each other. Lauren worked tirelessly, enthusiastically throughout the ceremony and the party that followed. A standing ovation for the work she gave us of their special wedding.

    Lauren was an amazing wedding photographer! When I told her I wanted to take pictures at a second location she went on her own time to scope out the scenery and lighting. Her calm demeanor really put us at ease in front of the camera. She got us our photos back so fast and she even photoshopped out my bra strap. I would highly recommend Lauren and will definitely use her again for our next special event.
