Hi there, I'm Kirby! For those of you wondering, yes-Kirby is my real name. I'm SO excited that you have come to my page! I am a photographer serving the Des Moines, Eastern Iowa Area and beyond. In my free time you can catch me trying to keep up with my little man Eli and my husband Isaac. I love jamming out to all different kinds of music (ranging from good ol' Disney singalongs to some 90's classics), working out at home, and playing/watching sports (Go Panthers!). I often daydream about Oreos and milk, donuts and ice cream (or anything S'mores).

Fun Fact: At the beginning of Isaac and I's wedding ceremony, we were each presented with a package of Oreos, because when we first met I was roaming the dorm halls with a package of them (along with a jug of milk), looking for a cup so I could dip my Oreos and Isaac saved the day! So basically what I'm trying to say is, food is my love language.

    Kirby was amazing to work with right off the bat! Her wedding package includes an engagement session and day of wedding coverage. However, she went above and beyond with help planning out the shooting timeline day of and all the logistics for wedding day. I can not recommend her more!

She’s kind, caring, and the couples parents even thought we were a team because she works so well with other vendors!     Right off the bat — Kirby is so kind, so easy going, and made our photography journey for our engagement + wedding so incredibly stress-free while delivering the MOST BEAUTIFUL photos we could have ever imagined. When I booked with Kirby last October, I was so excited, but had NO IDEA how incredible our experience would be. Kirby is a next-level photographer and she GENUINELY CARES about her clients. I will be a client for life. From booking, Kirby reached out to us at least monthly to check in on planning and her communication made the whole process less stressful. She never left me wondering and was always giving me advice! She made the photography piece of our big day the most stress-free part. She delivered her photos for engagement and wedding ahead of her estimated deadline in the contract, and even gave us sneak peek photos a day or 2 after each session. And every photo is absolutely STUNNING. If you’re looking for a next-level photographer who cares about YOU, Kirby is really the best around. Not to mention she dealt with our giant wedding party with so much grace, all while nearly 8 months pregnant!
