As the daughter of a frustrated artist, now a businessman, my first professional camera was gifted to me at only 10 years old. There was no going back after learning how to use a second-hand fossil of a camera. I quickly fell in love and annoyed everyone around me by clicking that baby all day long! I had my first encounter with formal photography education at 12 years old and my love for photography only grew bigger as I navigated life documenting my favorite moments.

All photographers have a corny quote about how photography freezes time, but it really does! Photography has allowed revisiting moments and people I can no longer physically see. It allows all of us to see older generations and historic moments.
