I began my photo career in the commercial world. I photographed for many ad agencies, fashion clients and magazines. When I segued into the wedding world, I brought that style of fashion photography and lighting with me.

I truly feel that relationships are key to excellent photos. My clients become my friends, leading up to, during, and after their weddings. I don't ever want to work with a couple that refers to me as their photographer. I want them to drop the formal vendor/client wall. I'm just John and we are gonna have fun. I promise.

John did our engagement photos and they came out beautifully. He had a plan of where to go and what to shoot that incorporated our requests and the results were stunning. We loved using one of the pics as our Save the Date card. Can't wait for him and the team to shoot our wedding!

John and his team truly exceeded all expectations. From the start, John was punctual and meticulously organized, capturing timeless and epic photos that perfectly documented our day. His ability to blend seamlessly with our guests allowed for a perfect mix of candid shots and thoughtful, posed photography. During our consultation, I expressed how important color was to us when it came to editing. He has such a range of editing skills, so the fact that he listened and delivered our vision tenfold really speaks to his experience. A plug from my husband: he provided invaluable feedback on our poses in a clear and positive manner, which greatly boosted our confidence. It felt as though we had known him for years; like a long-time friend. 100% framing our many favorites :)

Like most brides to be, I was nervous about choosing a photographer with so many options to choose from. I am SO happy we went with John Barone. Our engagement photos came out so amazing and now we are so excited for our photos on the big day. He was super professional, responsive, down to earth, and make us comfortable. My fiancé, who I thought would hate the experience of a photoshoot, came home and said, "that was so much fun!" We spent hours but it felt like 5 minutes. I cannot recommend John enough.

John Barone Photography is a 10/10 highly recommend wedding photographer & truly exceptional person. I have been following his work ever since I lived in Philadelphia, PA and he has been my dream wedding photographer! Although I have since moved a few times and now reside in Dallas, TX, I still found myself captivated by his artistry & talent. I found his work to be unmatched to others in his field despite checking in on the local talent during each move over the years. When it came time to plan my destination wedding, the easiest answer besides saying yes to my now husband’s proposal was saying yes to John Barone Photography! Working with him & his wife in Curaçao was a dream & the pictures are absolutely stunning and truly everything I had hoped for. The communication leading up to, during, & after was just right. He curated such a special first look experience with my husband & me and also created a special first look moment with my Dad as well. He was thoughtful, present, organized, & calm… which was the perfect balance for a type A personality bride. He helped pose us & provided good direction and the pictures are simply stunning & look like they are from a bridal magazine! He also captured so many authentic candids that allowed me to relive the raw genuine emotions of the day. His presence during the ceremony & reception was like that of a photography ninja. He was present at all the right moments but never detracted from the moment. My Dad is very hard to please and could not stop raving about how professional & skilled John was even before getting the photos back. Him & his wife are wonderful people and it was such a pleasure having them both at my wedding. Photography was one of my top priorities when wedding planning and I knew I didn’t want the “resort photographer.” I am so happy John & his wife were willing to travel with all his gear to capture my special day abroad! If the memories ever fade, the photos will last forever! Worth the investment! :)
