Jess was fantastic to work with all the way through the wedding planning process. From the low pressure quoting and comparison early on to the calm and professional presence on our wedding day, all the way through helping support us as we printed, framed, and shared pictures after our big day! Jess's recommendations for other services were great as well. Her recommendations for floral shops, tailors, and venues were all very helpful in sifting through all the possibilities out there. Overall Jess was a dream to work with and I can't recommend her highly enough!

I am so incredibly blown away by how amazing Jess has been to work with and how perfect our pictures turned out. Jess was extremely organized and easy to communicate with. We loved that the meetings we had with Jess were tangible and productive rather than just discussing ideas solely. Jess was extremely easy to get ahold of and very timely in responses when we had questions. We always felt secure and confident in her abilities, her commitment, and her professionalism. She truly got to know Seth and I as a couple, and wanted to capture our relationship in the pictures. Her editing style is beautiful and shows the authenticity of our love. We received our sneak peeks and our full gallery in an amazing amount of time and it was perfect to relive our wedding day. Jess has been extremely communicative through the whole process. On wedding day, she was the perfect combination of fun and relaxed while still staying on our timeline and being professional. I would highly recommend Jess to everyone who may be considering her!

We couldn't recommend Jessica Knighton more thoroughly! We chose Jess because we noticed that in her photos, the people always looked relaxed and their personalities shine through. This is very representative of working with Jess, who made us feel so comfortable from day one. From our first meeting, she helped us know what to expect with the whole wedding process, drew up an itinerary for us, and really helped us think through what would make the wedding day perfect for us. During our engagement session, Jess really helped us feel more confident in front of the camera. We were nervous but were surprised to find that the photo shoot was actually a lot of fun. And now we have cute photo posing skills we can use for the rest of our lives! We loved how the engagement photos turned out! The way we were having fun on picture day was perfectly reflected. When the wedding day came, it was like Jess was a guide to get us to all of our planned special moments. As a couple of introverts, we highly recommend having her sneak you out for sunset pics. Not only are the pictures perfect (they are), but you get some time for yourselves to take in the fact that you just got married! Afterwards, Jess worked with us on editing the pictures just right. We can’t make you decide who to choose as a photographer for your wedding, but we have nothing but praise for Jess!

I think I speak for a lot of us that wedding planning is not easy and pretty overhwhelming. I found Jess at the beginning of my planning journey by looking through about a million portfolios online. Hers stood out by a mile when my then fiance (now husband) starting tearing up while saying, "I hope we look that happy on our day." After meeting with Jess for a consult she gave us a full outline of what our day would look like down to the hour. Even though this was a rough draft it was honestly the perfect guide that we would use throughout our whole planning process. It gave us a lot of comfort knowing we didn't have to figure it out from scratch. Along the way as the day got closer we did our engagement photos which was a blast and Jess was up for anything to make our vision reality. Which for us was running around a state park to find any leaf that was orange in early fall. Every step of the way she helped us with suggestions when we needed them. As the day got sooner we realized we needed more than just a photographer and Jess offered a bunch of amazing options. We found our coordinator through her, who we also adored. When the big day came I barely had to worry about anything knowing I had a team behind me that I could trust. Now with the wedding over and having the photos back I don't think we could've made a better decision!

You may request a second photographer for your wedding day, which is always a nice option to get those extra angles and for a little additional help on your day. This is not required, but highly recommended for weddings with over 150 guests, large families, or large wedding parties. I am more than happy to help you make this decision when we talk wedding details and timeline!

Yes! All delivered photos will be edited and placed in a gallery for you to download and print.

Turnaround may vary by season (usually fall is a very busy time for photographers). You can expect sneak peeks within a week of your wedding date, and your full gallery is guaranteed to be delivered to you within 8 weeks of your wedding.

You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

I have never missed a booking to date, but if I am unable to shoot your wedding on the day, I will send a trusted colleague who will be able to take care of you just as I would. In this case, I will still edit and deliver your photos to you.

Typically, couples book me about one year before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Yes! Engagement sessions are included in all my wedding packages. I highly recommend that couples have an engagement session with their wedding photographer, as it allows us to get to know each other. I find that this helps couples feel more comfortable with me, which is ultra-important for your extra-special day!

First, a huge congratulations on your engagement! After that, we'll schedule a time to meet and talk about you and what you're looking for on your wedding day. This is free of charge, and will let us know if we are a good fit. Your photographer will be your shadow all day on your wedding day, so it is vital that we jam. The more comfortable you are with your photog, the better your images will be!

If you do not have a wedding planner, I am more than happy to help you work out your timeline and keep time for you on your wedding day. I am also available to help you with vendor recommendations or other questions you have leading up to your day!

Absolutely! I believe that weddings should be representative of the couple getting married, and if elopement is for you, I would love to be there to capture your intimate day together.
