Hi there! I’m Sara, the creative force behind Iris Rose. As a child, I loved to create - it was my favorite thing. Through years of navigating life’s challenges, I drifted away from my creative roots. In 2020, I picked up a camera and photography brought me back to that creative space, allowing me to capture something both beautiful and meaningful and I fell in love. When I’m being creative, I feel like my best self.

And I love, love! I love celebrating love. Weddings have always been my favorite event to attend and today, I get to help bring these special events to life! Helping people celebrate who they are and what means the most to them, means everything to me - that’s why I love what I do. I believe in feeling (and feeling big), authentic moments, raw emotion, genuine connection, laughter, tears, depth, community, camaraderie, service, ceremony…this guides my work. I believe in experiencing all that life has to offer and helping others do the same.

    From the moment we first spoke with Iris Rose Photography, we knew we were in good hands. Sara's communication style was open, clear, and detailed, and she was incredibly adaptive in working with us to capture our special day. As someone who has never had a professional photographer before, I found Sara's instructions during our engagement session and on the wedding day to be easygoing and helpful. When it came time for our newlywed photos, Sara was quick to re-imagine poses on the spot to accommodate the limited mobility of my dress. On the wedding day, Sara was a true professional - she seamlessly guided us through taking photos at the Tucson Museum of Art, a location we had chosen. Not only did she bring our ideas to life, but she was also there to capture the emotional moment when I first saw my engagement ring that day. Sara's thorough, diligent, and intentional approach to her work is evident in the beautiful final photos we received. We are thrilled with the value Iris Rose Photography provided and would highly recommend them to any couple looking for an exceptional photography experience.

    Iris Rose photography did an amazing job! They were so kind and professional. They also were so willing to jump right in and navigate the chaos of our wedding.     Sara with Iris Rose photography did a truly incredible job photographing our elopement, we couldn’t be happier. She took absolutely beautiful photos, delivered them according to schedule, was one of our witnesses, and gave great guidance to help us feel comfortable during photos. Not only that, but our elopement was up on our favorite hiking trail at sunset, so she did all that PLUS hiked up with all her gear, and hiked back down after the sun set. She went above and beyond- literally. Major props as well to her husband, Ryan, who helped, too! For gorgeous photos that take you straight back to your special moment, creativity, warmth, and a stellar experience- BOOK SARA! We can’t recommend her and her talents highly enough!!

    I wish I could give more than 5 stars because Iris Rose absolutely deserves more. I cannot even begin to describe how happy I am with our engagement photos. They came out even better than I ever could have dreamed of. Not only is Sara talented, but she’s also so fun to work with. My fiancé and I were a little nervous at first but she was so calming and made the experience so fun and enjoyable. She is also doing my wedding photos and I cannot wait. I am so grateful I found her and would highly recommend her to anyone. She is the best!
