Hello there!! I’m so pumped to meet you!! Honestly, making new friends is the best. Surrounding myself with excitement, love, and happiness is the best career I could ask for. I have been a photographer for 11 years, and specializing in weddings since 2014. I grew up in Minneapolis, but am far from a typical Midwesterner! I have a degree in Sociology and Anthropology, so I genuinely am fascinated not only by your love story, but also your background, profession, and daily whereabouts!

    If you're looking for someone who will creatively capture every single detail and moment, as well as every candid smile, laugh and tear on your wedding day, Athena of Empiria Studios is your gal! We absolutely LOVED having Athena as our wedding photographer. Not only does her work speak for itself, but her upbeat/positive attitude, spunk and calming nature truly did wonders to all of our nerves and excitement the day of and prior to. On top of her awesome personality, Athena is very proactive, organized and adaptable, and she made the entire planning experience such a breeze (even during COVID!). We were super impressed with the timeliness of our several sneak peaks, and also, how prompt she got us our entire wedding album! Athena was a true joy to work with and get to know, and we look forward to having her capture future moments/occasions.     Empiria Studios is one of my absolute favor vendors in the game. Everything Athena shoots is unique, fun, and absolutely stunning. She continually amazes me with her insane level of work. I have worked with her professionally as well as personally and always had the best experience. Athena is a light and joy to be around which makes any event with her that much more enjoyable!
