How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Typically, couples book me about 12-18 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Will there be a second photographer?

All my full day packages include a second photographer! I believe this is very important for the day to run smoothly + on time. My 2-4 hour elopement/micro-wedding packages do not include a second photographer, as I don't typically find it necessary! But one can always be added on :) My five hour elopement/micro-wedding package does include a second photographer!

How many pictures will we get?

On average: 75 fully retouched images/per hour.

Do you also offer video services?

Accepted Answer

No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. However, I know of some absolutely wonderful videographers in the area!

How long will it take to see our pictures?

My turnaround time varies by season (6-8 weeks). Sneak peeks are delivered within a week of the wedding date.

Will you edit all our pictures?

I do not edit every photo that’s taken the day of the wedding, but I do cull through the entire wedding carefully, and select only the best images to edit. My focus is on quality vs quantity. I pride myself in how much time and detailing I put into my editing process.

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you're left with only the best of the best! Someone who has the same experience, uses the same level of equipment, and fits my personality!

Do you have insurance?

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

How will I receive my photos?

Your gallery will be delivered through a beautiful online gallery, as well as a USB 6 months following the wedding date, if your package includes one!

How long do you keep copies of our images?

I guarantee 12 months, however I store them indefinitely.

100+ I started photography end of 2014, and started capturing weddings in 2016, I believe!

How many weddings do you take every year?

I take on no more than 10 traditional weddings a year, along with 5 destination elopements to ensure that I provide my couples with the best quality.

I'm scared my images will get lost or corrupted. How do you prevent this?

Technology is not perfect! And that's why it's so important to book a professional photographer for your wedding day. I bring 3 camera bodies to every wedding. My cameras are dual shooting (which means they record to two memory cards simultaneously to ensure photo safety, in case of a photo corruption occurring). The same evening I capture a wedding, I go home and back images up to three separate sources, which includes 1 online source, as well as 2 physical sources. If an emergency occurs (fire, theft, etc) a copy of the images will still be safe at all times. This is EXTREMELY important to me, and not something I take lightly.
