Owner, Ami Christianson trained at Capri Cosmetology Institute and began her career in Madison, Wi. where she specialized in hair & makeup for film & television. Ami established One Salon & Bridal Co in 2006. Her team has extensive training and experience in bridal Hair and Makeup .     5 Stars isn't enough for One Salon and Bridal Co. Michelle (make-up) and Rochelle (hair) were my artists and they are incredible. They take the time to get to know you, are genuinely interested in your personal color scheme, and then work their magic. Both my hair and make-up withstood the day and night. Their prices are also very reasonable. If you're recently engaged and shopping around for hair/make-up for you and your party (or even for engagement photos), book these ladies immediately. You will be thrilled.

    I want to first say that the bridal coordinator/makeup artist, Michelle, is SO nice, helpful, honest, knowledgeable, and caring! She immediately made me feel comfortable during our first email exchange as I was extremely anxious at this time and had been reaching out to other hair/makeup vendors since our original vendor, Mixology in St. Charles, permanently closed (super abruptly) in late July after we had already paid our 390 deposit. Michelle was also great during the trial (as was Zuli, the hair stylist) and paid close attention to details to make sure that I was as happy as possible with the outcome. We originally agreed on a start time of 11:30 AM but I ended up texting her a few weeks later asking to start early after a meeting with our month-of planner so we could finish hair/makeup by 3:00 PM. She was quick to respond and immediately made the change for me! POST-WEDDING THOUGHTS: I cannot say enough good things about our makeup artist, Michelle. She was so kind, professional, helpful, funny, and just overall amazing. Our wedding planner asked if we knew her before the wedding just because of how much she was able to connect with each person in the room. She did a fantastic job on everyone who got their makeup done!! Helen and Zuly also did amazing on everyone’s hair - no complaints from anyone whatsoever. They were all on time, helpful, and understanding. If you need a hair stylist/makeup artist for your wedding, you should ABSOLUTELY use One Bridal Company!!!!

    Ami and her team were amazing from the moment we booked them. They made the process so easy so we could focus on the special day. They were helpful with ideas for hair and makeup style and made each bridesmaid and the bride feel so special. On the day of the wedding they were all so sweet and calming! Hair and makeup were so amazing!! Definitely will be using them again!!!

    I just want to say that one salon and bridal have great customer service and are very pleasant to work with. Rochelle and Katherine were very professional and kind. I loved my makeup and hair for my wedding. I was a bit nervous about the makeup before the wedding day, but my worries quickly subsided once I saw how well Katherine did my makeup and knew what colors to use on me. Bothe Rochelle and Katherine are very skilled and talented.
