Le Shag is a hub of happy hair artists with an amazing clientele that hopefully return to the community reinvigorated, excited, and laughing. "As a stylist who's worked in many parts of the world with all kinds of individuals, I know how important self-image is. It's where your day begins, where your frame of mind begins. I've worked on Broadway, red carpets, and various editorial situations, with all kinds of personalities, to achieve one goal: help motivate them with confidence and courage, make them feel like the best version of themselves. I love to listen and work with people to determine what they want while creating something that they can re-create at home and wear day to day.

    I found Le Shag because they worked on another wedding at our venue and everything looked great, I was excited to work with them. There was some back and forth communication (playing phone tag/miscommunication/missed calls), trying to get everything booked, but eventually we were able to connect and get our day booked and later getting the trial booked. The trial with Mikaela was great, as someone who doesn’t typically wear a lot of makeup she was great at explaining everything, asking a lot of questions, and making sure I was comfortable. On the day of, the hair and makeup artists (Mikaela, Carly & Skylar) were prompt, professional, and did an incredible job, although some of the makeups took a bit longer than expected. My makeup looked absolutely stunning and lasted all night long (my hair did begin to lose its curl). I was so happy with the quality of their work and the value they provided. One of bridesmaids even reached out afterwards to get everyone’s names and the name of the company and their contact information because she loved her hair and makeup so much!
