Hello! I'm Amelia! I'm a cosmetologist in the sun-shining state of Arizona with an obsession with all things glitter. I live here with my husband and our two daughters and son. I truly have a passion for what I do and am always integrating new benefits, systems, and services for my brides!

As a somewhat recent bride myself, I know how exciting yet stressful wedding planning can be. I offer my brides services that go beyond just glam! Besides making sure everyone feels glowing, I heavily focus on using products that will keep hair and skin healthy. I also always try to have an answer for any question whether it be about skin care, hair health, beauty, or even other vendor relations or recs!

    Amelia is a sensational hair and makeup artist! She completed exceeded my expectations (which were already high!). She took time during our trial to get my vision of what I wanted for our wedding day. She went through every process with me, ensuring I liked what I saw. She was reliable and communicative with the pre planning, as well as brought on another incredible artist to assist with my bridesmaids’ makeup and hair. Amelia made the getting ready process so fun, she made myself and the other girls feel completely at ease and kept us on schedule. My makeup and hair turned out even better than the trial, better than I could have imagined-I looked and felt my absolute best thanks to Amelia’s amazing skills!

    Amelia Thorp Hair & Makeup was a pleasure to work with for our wedding day. They were very easy to communicate with throughout the planning process, and accommodated my large bridal party with ease. The hair and makeup services were fairly priced and lasted all night long, which was greatly appreciated. I was able to schedule a trial ahead of time, which helped ensure I looked and felt my best on the big day. Amelia did an amazing job, and it was great to work with her and her team to help make our wedding day special.

    Amelia is absolutely amazing and she will 100% make your dream look a reality. If you’re looking for a hair and makeup artist in the Phoenix area she is the right choice for you. She’s very skilled, kind, and a complete joy to be around. She went above and beyond and even helped me lace up my wedding dress and helped me get my toddler ready when I was too busy to do so myself! 5 stars isn’t enough for her. 1,000,000/10 recommend!
