Hi! My name is Jennifer, and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, where I began my floral journey at a boutique flower shop in the valley. In 2017, I moved to San Diego, CA, and then to Louisville, KY, in 2021. I have been in the floral industry for about 9 years. I started my business in 2019 as jchristine designs and recently did a rebrand where Persephone was born.

My job as your florist is to make your floral dreams a reality. Every floral piece is thoughtfully designed using premium, seasonal blooms that best fit your color palette, style, and design concept. I love experimenting with a mix of fresh & dried florals to create elevated & imaginative designs and love designing for those with a unique, non-traditional floral style. If you're out of state and want me to be your florist, I will travel to make your day extra special. If that is not within your budget, I ship all dried wedding pieces so I can still be a part of it from afar!

    Picking my wedding florist was the easiest decision because I made it before we even got engaged. I’d seen Jen’s florals on social media and knew they were exactly what I wanted! Unique, stunning, and creative with different types of elements- not just florals. Jen was amazing through the entire process, listened to what I wanted but was knowledgeable enough to help guide me through the unknowns or what might be the best option for my vision.     I had a small elopement on a short timeline and Jen made my wedding floral dreams come true. It was so easy to collaborate on the concept, and she shipped my dried bouquet safely and quickly. The florals were so beautiful, both in-person and in my wedding photos. I was even able to repurpose some of the dried flowers for decor around my home.

    Persephone was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding flowers. From the very first conversation, Jenn and her team were open, helpful, and incredibly communicative, making the process of selecting and customizing our floral arrangements a breeze. On the day of the wedding, their attention to detail was evident in the beautiful, perfect execution of our vision. The florals complemented my wife's dress and the overall wedding aesthetic wonderfully. In fact, my wife's niece loved the bouquet so much that she took it home afterwards! Jenn's incredible talent is evident in every arrangement, and I would highly recommend her services to anyone planning a wedding.

    I cannot say enough about Jennifer! She was so incredible for the start and was so incredibly helpful through our whole process, including having to change the wedding date 3 times. She even flew to California for our wedding (she moved in between the many date changes). My bouquet came out perfectly, just like imagined it. :) The bridesmaid bouquets and boutonnieres were absolutely beautiful and she nailed our expectations and theme! I truly don't know anything about flowers so Jennifer was great in working with us and our budget.
