Florist & Hound Design is a boutique floristry company specializing in artful floral design of weddings, events, and editorials. Based in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, serving Chicago and Northern Illinois along with destinations! Our team is led by Klaudia Szymel, who has been in the floral industry for 6 years and supported by an incredibly talented team. Odie is the Hound. He's included in every proposal, is on every call, and spends tremendous amounts of time in the studio. While he loves flowers, you'll catch him on our Story often or snoozing while the rest of the team works away!

Klauda at F&H is the BEST!

We had such a wonderful experience working with Klaudia! From the very beginning, she was warm and supportive and understood our vision despite our inability to fully articulate it ourselves. We are not flower experts but we knew we wanted something whimsical and magical for our winter wedding. She spent tons of time with us, in person, on the phone, and via email, making sure our proposal was exactly what we wanted. She even stuck with us through some huge changes to our original wedding plan and budget and came up with creative solutions to make sure we got exactly what we wanted within what we could afford. Within just a few weeks of the wedding, we got some wild ideas to use some items of our own in the decorating, and she made that work for us as well. The day-of, our flowers were unspeakably gorgeous. Klaudia delivered the bouquets to us right on time, and decorated the venue beautifully (all while having a broken leg!!!! She is magic.) Our other vendors, guests and even strangers during our outdoor photos raved about the flower arrangements. They were super unique and special, and I never wanted them to be over! In fact, we still have my dried bridal bouquet hanging in our apartment three months later... In sum, hire Klaudia. She is the florist of dreams.

When I first met Klaudia not even two years ago, I was a little wary because she her business was so new. Sometimes even the most seasoned florists can be a little challenging to work with--difficult to reach, lack of clarity in proposals, etc.--so I had my guard up. However, Klaudia blew me away! Not only is she an incredibly talented designer, she's a true pro who is so on top of her game. She's the total package. I recommend her very highly and frequently bring clients to her because I know she will do an amazing job every time!
