Raised in Guanajuato, Mexico, Chef Nico Sanchez became fascinated with the culinary world at age 9 while working at a small bakery. Working his way up from delivery driver to cook to chef, he dedicated his life to connecting people through the art of food. After moving to DFW in 1996, Chef Nico developed a deep love for all things TX, including its barbecue and come as you are environment. With his passion for Mexican cuisine, he envisioned a restaurant where he create a badass craft que with a unique Mexican flair: MEXI-QUE.
