    THE BEST I FOUND! Communication before the wedding and during was amazing! Jon was right there at the door to greet me when I arrived at the venue, extremely friendly and easy to talk to. He did everything I asked regarding music, no problems there. Jon did our ceremony, provided microphones for the groom and officiant, the smallest most discreet microphones ever. Played the most beautiful Disney instrumental music before ceremony. Then switched gears for our reception! We were supposed to do a funny dancing song when he introduced us but at the last second my husband and I decided to switch gears and Jon had no problem what so ever! He had a clear loud voice when making announcements, everyone understood him. When it got close to the dance floor opening up he got everyone (young and old) at my wedding to participate in a fun dancing game. Everyone was dancing singing and laughing it was awesome and unexpected!!! The dance floor opened up and he played wonderful upbeat music that all flowed together no weird pauses or breaks between songs. He takes some videos and posts them on his instagram which I don't mind at all. My wedding and night was a 10/10 because of Jon and unique sounds entertainment! So wish I got a photo with Jon

    I cannot recommend Unique Sounds enough. It is really clear that this team knows how to do weddings, specifically! We had DJ Jon Smith for our February 2025 wedding at the Graduate by Hilton Providence. For the months leading up to the wedding, Unique Sounds was extremely responsive and communicative. I spoke with both Blake and Jon at different times, and not only are they professional and good at what they do, but they are kind, genuine people who really wanted to tailor their service to our vibe/vision. Jon went through a comprehensive breakdown of the day with us, so we felt confident going in. I'd recommend just trusting Jon to get the attendees going because he knows what he's doing! Our wedding party intro was absolute electric, and Jon found ways to engage the attendees throughout the night. I have had so many people come up to me and say that they have never seen a dance floor so packed at a wedding. Once the dance floor opened up, people didn't sit down. Unique Sounds and Jon, thank you for being such a highlight of the night!

Their communication style was energetic, organized, and kind, making them so easy to talk to throughout the planning and execution process. The quality of their work was truly outstanding - they were fun, collaborative, and guest-focused, expertly reading the dance floor and playing to the couple's preferences to create an amazing atmosphere. They were able to seamlessly accommodate requests, lead the formal moments of the day, and keep the energy high on the dance floor.     From start to finish it was amazing working with Alex. He was easy to communicate with throughout the planning process and was very quick to respond back to me about any questions I had. He was extremely professional and given his experience, was also able to help us plan out aspects of the reception/provide advice in areas we were unsure. I did not give him a playlist and instead had a few do not play songs and must play. I’m happy I gave him flexibility with the song choices because he did an amazing job and had everyone (all ages) out on the dance floor the entire night. So many people came up to us saying how great Alex was and how much fun they had. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a quality DJ!
