Hey there, I'm DJ Preston! My DJ journey began at 15, and it's been an incredible ride ever since. Starting in 1995, I spun tracks for school dances, bars, and clubs, then moved into radio, spending 8 years on air. I've performed at award shows, corporate events, weddings, and traveled the country for nightclub gigs, even sharing stages with big-name artists. Recently, I was honored as one of the best wedding DJs in San Diego by California Wedding Day in 2024. I love creating unforgettable atmospheres where everyone can dance and have an amazing time.

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! Preston was incredible – not only did he play the perfect mix of music that kept everyone dancing all night, but he also made everyone feel welcome and included. From the moment he arrived, he created such a fun and lively atmosphere, making sure the vibe was just right for every moment. He was professional, personable, and really tuned into the crowd’s energy. It was clear they genuinely cared about making our day unforgettable. We received so many compliments from our guests about how great the music was! If you’re looking for a DJ who knows how to read the room and keep the party going, I highly recommend DJ Preston!

We interviewed several DJ's before settling on DJ Preston for our wedding at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. We were impressed with Preston's responses to our interview, we could tell he cared about attention to detail and enjoyed his craft. On the day of the wedding Preston was an absolute professional. The music was the perfect volume from pre-ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner to dancing. The audio for all speeches was perfect as well. I heard from several of our guests "the DJ was great!" so what else is there to say? I didn't have much banter with Preston before or after the wedding, but if you're looking for a professional who pays attention to the details and delivers a great set, then Preston is your guy! He did a great job reading the vibe for our dollar dance and facilitating an amazing night. Thanks Preston!!

We are so glad to have had Preston as our wedding DJ! His questionnaire and day-of music forms made us feel like we could really customize the vibe we were going for. He set up the sound for our outdoor ceremony and reception, and everything went great. The sound was clear, even with the wind, and all the music timing was seamless. He's also a great announcer and got everyone's attention for different times of the night. Thanks for helping us have the best wedding day Preston!

When we were looking at a DJ for our wedding I talked to a lot of different DJs. No one compared to Preston. The expertise he brought was apparent from the moment I talked to him. He reinforced that feeling by his preparation for the wedding. He gave us a detailed document to fill out that made me reassured of the quality he would bring to our wedding. When I finally met him in person something else was confirmed. Not only was he a great DJ, he was a great person too. The care that he brought to our wedding was the exact feeling we were looking for and he was incredible. I cannot recommend Preston highly enough. Great DJ and a great person as well!
