I’m Jay and I'm the owner of La Bella and The Beat. I spend my weekends entertaining, celebrating and partying with some of the best people I’ve ever met. Music has always been a passion of mine--from my boombox days in 1st grade, playing for whoever would listen from my neighborhood driveway, to when my DJing side hustle of 13 years became my full-time career in 2018. I’m a versatile mobile DJ serving New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts (or really anywhere looking for a party). For the past decade, I’ve been rocking events all across New England. No my adventures even take the parties abroad.

I have a genuine respect for music and a passion for sharing sounds as an experience for listeners. Human-to-human connection is what it's all about for me and I love it when clients become friends. The better I get to know my people, the better their events can be. Hands down, the best DJ in so many ways. Professional, personable, flexible and most importantly super talented and incredibly FUN! As a vendor in the events industry, we have worked with Jay and we are always excited to see him performing, bringing a group together to celebrate and see them having a great time. Personally, we have worked with Jay for our company events as well as our own family celebrations over the last few years. He reads the room, knows exactly how to keep the crowd going and seeing him behind his booth with his giant smile makes him a huge part of the celebration. We always hear compliments and rave reviews from our guests after a party with Jay. Half of our family is hispanic and is always requesting the latin hits, and he always delivers! He makes sure to get an understanding of the event, the invited guests and is always in communication so that he is prepared for it all! In addition to his talent. He offers a great photo booth option, which we use at all our holiday parties and an incredible lighting package to help enhance the atmosphere. He helps create and compliment the entire vibe at any event. Five Stars All Day!!! Thank you Jay for helping us create such wonderful memories for our team, friends and family!

Jay was exceptionally professional and went above and beyond to make sure our special day flowed seamlessly from start to finish. He took time to get to know us as a couple, and even helped us develop a timeline of events. From our first consultation straight through wedding day, Jay was personally invested in capturing our unique style and translating it into a soundtrack that made our wedding feel like walking through a movie. Every beat was in time with the moment; every selection paired to the energy. His attention to detail made all the difference. He even attended our rehearsal! We could not recommend Jay more; we were looking for a DJ but had no idea we would receive an experience so authentic and inspired. Jay’s genuine appeal made us feel like we were his only clients, and his presence at the wedding was like that of an old friend (who just happened to also be our DJ). There are endless stressors that go into planning and creating the perfect wedding day. Sam And I knew from the second we got off our first discovery call with Jay that he was our guy. Jay from day one helped us make a process that most think to be chaotic, SO MUCH easier. He started the party early during our rehearsal in getting everybody laughing during our practice of the ceremony. Between his technology in using the mobile app to plan all our songs, and the conversations and questions Jay goes out of his way to have in order to make sure he understands exactly what we wanted for our special day. Not to mention the absolute best lighting and sound setup in the business… Jay goes above and beyond and there are not words to describe what a awesome human he is. The team made our day so incredibly special, and even with some last minute (literally) changes to have one of my best friends throw flowers and white claws, he made it happen without question. All the music and the dance floor was full of smiles and happiness from the second we started. I could write a book of how happy we are with Jay, we love him and and hope others can experience the greatness of his work as we did on our big day.

There aren't enough words to express our gratitude and appreciation for Jay. We were a pandemic couple, so meeting vendors over phone/zoom was interesting to say the least, but with Jay...we knew, our 30 min intro call ran over an hour, we lost track of time getting to know him, him to know us, laughing like we had been friends for years. Jay was always accessible, has some great technology (love the Vibo app) and is well versed in the industry. He knows how to read a room to get the party moving and he's one HELL of an MC. We were lucky enough to find him and he made our music dreams a reality (I mean ask him about the Lion King/Drop Kick Murphy intro song)...however we are even more grateful for our paths crossing and the friendship that has now formed. Keep jammin Jay and don't ever lose that phone! We love ya!
