    Hiring Downbeat Louisiana was easily one of the best decisions I made for my wedding reception. I knew I was in good hands with Chris and his crew. I went to check them out at a few public shows beforehand and loved the song selections. They played songs that our parents loved, that our friends loved, and all ages in between. From the moment our reception started, the dance floor was packed. They kept everyone out there too. They did everything in their power to make sure my wedding day was everything I dreamed of and more! I’m still getting texts from family and friends saying how good the band was. Chris also worked with my venue and my day of coordinator to make sure everything ran smoothly. And it did. As a bride that’s in a band, I KNEW a band was a non-negotiable for me. But that also made me picky because I know music. These musicians are TOP NOTCH! If you’re a bride that’s debating between a band and a DJ, I promise you, get the band. And get THIS band! It’s a totally different experience for you and your guests. There’s a reason this band has already won so many awards. You will not be disappointed with Downbeat Louisiana!

    I’ll admit, I was initially a bit skeptical about the cost of hiring Downbeat Louisiana for our wedding. We had a strict budget, and I wasn’t sure if splurging on the band was the right decision. But from the moment they started playing at our reception, I knew we had made the best choice. Downbeat Louisiana brought an energy that completely transformed our wedding day. They had everyone, from our youngest guests to our grandparents on the dance floor all night long. The variety of music they played was incredible, and they knew exactly how to keep the party going. Chris was so easy to work with from the very start. He listened to our vision, offered great suggestions, and made sure everything was just perfect. By the end of it all, I felt like I had gained a friend, not just hired a band. Their professionalism was evident in every detail, from their set-up to the seamless flow of their performance.
