We had the best time at our wedding and reception thanks to DJ Entertainment! He was super easy to work with and helped us with every step along the way. He was super professional and can make anything possible! He is super communicative and available for you to reach out whenever you have questions. DJ Entertainment Amarillo was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Jack, the owner, was incredibly communicative and responsive - he answered back quickly, was very open, and offered helpful suggestions throughout the planning process. On the day of, his talent and professionalism really shone through. He played great music choices that kept our guests entertained, and he was incredibly flexible when our schedule got a bit off track, seamlessly going with the flow. Jack really felt the crowd and played music that fit the perfect vibe for our special day. We can't thank him and his team enough for contributing to making our wedding so memorable.

It was such a great night. It's not unusual for wedding timelines to change (many times) throughout the night. The food and drinks were fabulous and all your guests had a great time. His ability to read a room and adapt to the vibe of the crowd is unmatched. His extensive planning ahead of time made us feel very safe and his cooperation with our wedding coordination made everything run very smooth. There was not a time when the dance floor was not ABSOLUTELY PACKED. He understands what genres to play and when. He is a great choice for ANY crowd.

We will work together to pick the perfect songs for your event. We are available to meet (in person or via Zoom) to discuss your ideas and to plan everything. Based upon the timelines from your other vendors, together we will coordinate each song and activity for the entire event.

I typically arrive 3 hours prior to the ceremony to get all equipment in place and tested long before the first guests arrive.

Depending on the venue, I use separate systems for the outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. I only use wireless lapel microphones for the ceremony, so there won't be an awkward microphone stand in the middle of all of the ceremony photographs. Pre-ceremony music begins 1 hour prior. Immediately following the ceremony, the indoor system starts with background music for cocktails and dinner.

Each wedding is different, and I will work closely with each couple to determine each of the specific songs for the ceremony and reception. I ask for a must-play and don't-play list of songs. I'll play requests (with your approval) and EVERY song will be the clean-edited version.

I will wear something similar to that of the wedding party. That could be anything from jeans to a tux. I don't want to stand out either way, but I want the guests to know I will be the emcee for the event.

My music library is constantly expanding. But I will NEVER play a song hoping the wi-fi connection is working. I want to know every song you want to hear, and I will download it in advance if I don't already have it in my collection.
