We moved from Peachtree City, Georgia to this breathtaking countryside estate in Newnan, Georgia in July 2016 with the sole intent of opening a wedding and special events venue. When we found this little gem, we realized we wanted to share the beautiful property with others and help our guests create unforgettable memories for their friends and family at Murphy Lane. Our guests become much more than clients, they become lifelong friends and together we seek to create a wondrous experience for each and every guest at Murphy Lane. About us Macedonia Hills is a boutique venue for weddings and other events located near Newnan, GA. Surrounded by nature's beauty and entirely removed from the outside world, the property sits on 16 acres of hills and fields bordered by old-growth and evergreen forest. ​ Unlike a majority of venues of this kind, Macedonia Hills is family owned and operated. We take care of the property on a daily basis and are continually improving the venue and landscaping. This also means that you will be dealing with us directly, as we strive to make your experience as special and carefree as possible. The Main House still has all of its original historic charms, while offering the contemporary amenities you will need. The Main House is available the day of your wedding for anything from a bridal luncheon to bridal party preparations and wedding party photography.
