Spread over 25 acres of gardens, The Brothers Ranch features palms, tropical flowers, and bamboo that helps transport couples and their guests to another place. This lush landscape serves to enhance a couple’s wedding theme and is complete with a refurbished courtyard and barn. The Brothers Ranch has multiple ceremony and reception areas to choose from, both inside and out. In addition, there is a bar, full kitchen, and designated dressing rooms, along with the sensory-indulging gardens. Up to 500 people can gather at this venue. Soon-to-be-weds can choose their own caterer to be approved by the ranch, allowing the pair to customize their day to their tastes and preferences. Parking is available, with overflow as well. There is only one event planned per day, and the couple has the day before and after the event for setting and cleaning up. The staff is eager to help couples achieve the wedding day they have always wanted!

Seriously the hottest up-and-coming venue in the entire Monterey Bay area - where the beautiful and unique grounds are only the surface! Every aspect of the venue has been carefully thought out to accommodate the wedding party, guests, and vendors perfectly. The tropical foliage of the ceremony lawn offered a stunning backdrop for our vows (plus the sweet scent that wafts from nearby strawberry fields). The reception area was the perfect size and layout for our guests to eat, drink, play games, and dance throughout the night - cozy but spacious at the same time. Brothers Ranch was so beautiful and so well designed that we really didn’t need many of our own decorations. Also a huge plus for us was having access to the space for the entire weekend (Friday-Sunday) so we had plenty of time for setup and we didn’t have to worry about cleanup at the end of our wedding night! But the true heart of this venue is Jessie and Jonathan Brothers. More gracious hosts than venue owners, they helped us every step of the way to have an amazing and stress-free wedding. They both went above and beyond running around the whole weekend handling all of the little details to provide a seamless experience for us and our guests, from giving golf cart rides between the reception and ceremony spaces to rolling out heaters after sundown. So a big thank you to Jessie and Jonathan and definitely book Brother Ranch - the best venue in all of Monterey Bay for an amazing, beautiful, stress-free, and super fun wedding!

Ladies and gentlemen, if you are the person in your couple that is taking on the wedding planning, and contemplating this venue, look no further and book as soon as you can! I am a very meticulous and detail oriented person that brought in a ton of decor and the dream team here at Wedgewood placed it flawlessly. On the day of the wedding I did not receive one single call or email from the team and when I arrived at the venue, I was astonished at how beautiful everything looked. The wedding itself went off without a hitch. Our guests were so impressed by the food, cake, venue and the overall flow of the wedding. Alycia was our day of coordinator and she absolutely killed! She was a literal wedding angel. For reference, we went with the elite package and we extended our venue time until 11 PM. They were a dream to work with!

This October, I worked with Elope in Monterey to have a small wedding with my immediate family in attendance. I feel so unbelievably lucky that Catherine was my photographer! I showed up to my wedding without ever meeting Catherine, but her warmth and friendliness made me feel comfortable immediately. As someone who is pretty shy in front of the camera (same goes for my partner), I was surprised by how comfortable I felt in front of Catherine's lens. She really let us be ourselves and joyfully captured all the silliness that makes us who we are. I also really appreciated her helpful directions and tips for posing, which she always delivered kindly. Catherine really made us feel like she was so happy to be there and for me, that really made my experience so pleasant and memorable! Even though our package only included 60 minutes of photography, she never made us feel rushed and she really went the extra mile to get us a large variety of shots and made sure we had many photos in various configurations of our group! I had read in a wedding magazine that you should hire a photographer who feels like a friend so that you are happy they are there on the day. Danieka met me for coffee in Monterey before we signed our contract and she was SO nice. Once we signed the contract, she started to send me recommendations for other vendors, suggested wedding timelines, and little pieces of advice she had picked up from other weddings (not too often - just 3-4 really informative emails throughout the year that we were planning and she was really responsive if I had questions). On the wedding day, she was prompt, really kind and struck an incredible balance between making sure that we had the pictures we wanted, but also that we were able to enjoy the day and not spend too much time taking pictures. I felt so happy she was there. Now, one week after our wedding, with just the pictures to look back on, we are SO happy that we booked her.

Sydalyn Hill is a beautiful, peaceful, and rustic wedding venue that overlooks the redwoods. They have chandeliers in the walnut trees above the dance floor which is such an elegant a unique touch to the venue. Gwyn, Jonathan, their daughters, and team helped the entire day run smoothly. Gwyn also helped with the organization and planning leading up to the wedding. We did a lot of virtual planning as we did not live in the area. Gwyn was very organized and helped with all the little details throughout the planning process. We rented the venue for the entire weekend. It was amazing getting to enjoy the venue and get settled in before the wedding day. We had the best weekend!

From the moment he reached out in response to my project on Thumbtack, Mark worked hard to accommodate our needs. He made sure that we felt good about the menu before we booked with them. Many of our guests made comments to us about how much they enjoyed the food, and everyone (about 130 people) had as much to eat as they wanted with food left over. My only regret was that as the bride I didn't have the chance to eat as much of that AMAZING French toast as I wanted!

We hired Dina to be our wedding planner and it was the single best decision we made for our wedding. We called a few different vendors and Dina immediately stood out because she was the only one who was willing to actually give us a true consultation to ensure we were on the same page with what we wanted. She also didn't require us to pay her any money up front. In fact, she didn't request any money from us until maybe a month or two in? And even then, it was a minimal deposit. Point is, her vibe is that of someone who understands the stress of wedding planning for the bride and groom so she makes you feel like she wants to earn your trust and do everything right before she asks for your business. Leading up to the wedding, friends and family would ask us if we were stressed or ask us how the wedding planning was going. Our answer would always be, "you know what... we don't have anything to do lol." And that was the truth. Dina made the entire process come together so seamlessly for us, during a pandemic no less, when so many vendors were backed up. When we saw the venue in it's final form for the first time, our jaws dropped. Even to this day we love recalling comments from guests on how beautiful the venue was. During the actual wedding, she stayed the WHOLE night for us and even brought an assistant. Leading up to the wedding we were not expecting that! She helped to orchestrate the whole night between guest seating and working with restaurant staff. Simply put, Dina's communication was on point. Her work ethic blew us away. The way she found and discussed vendors with us made us completely trust her with the process of pulling our vision together. Her fees were criminal to the point we had to tip her almost 500 more just so we didn't feel like we were robbing her of her time and effort. We've already jumped at the opportunity to recommend her to friends/family that are embarking on their wedding planning journeys. I don't write many reviews, but had to for Dina. She will always have a special place in our memories and lives because she played such a huge role on our special day.

Giselle and Bella, the event coordinators, were incredible. From our in-person meetings to email correspondence, they were always helpful, attentive, and on top of every detail. On the big day, I didn’t have to worry about a thing because I knew they had it all handled. The food was absolutely delicious and all our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! The chicken and waffle appetizer during the cocktail hour was a huge hit and the ham benedict was equally loved by everyone. Everything was simply beautiful, and I couldn’t have imagined a better wedding experience. Getting married at Paicines Ranch was an absolutely magical experience. The best way to describe my work is a mix of National Geographic and GQ/Vogue. Have you ever seen the movie Talladega Nights with Will Ferrell? There is a scene where he awkwardly holds his hands in front of the camera. Yea, that is pretty much all of us. As a wedding planner, we see the behind-the-scenes operations of many different venues. I can confidently say The Club at Pasadera provides the best quality customer service and food service in the area. They are consistent with every event and we have done over 100 events at their location over the past 8 years. The back of the house staff has remained the same because they are all one happy family and it shows in the service they provide every one of our clients. Besides that the venue is stunning and will leave your guests feeling like they have been transported to another country. Another huge plus is their indoor spaces in case there is rain in the forecast and you do not want to pay an extra 20k for a tent last minute like you often have to do at other locations in the area. We LOVE The Club at Pasdera and highly recommend them to any couple looking to get married there.
