Spread over 25 acres of gardens, The Brothers Ranch features palms, tropical flowers, and bamboo that helps transport couples and their guests to another place. This lush landscape serves to enhance a couple’s wedding theme and is complete with a refurbished courtyard and barn. The Brothers Ranch has multiple ceremony and reception areas to choose from, both inside and out. In addition, there is a bar, full kitchen, and designated dressing rooms, along with the sensory-indulging gardens. Up to 500 people can gather at this venue. Soon-to-be-weds can choose their own caterer to be approved by the ranch, allowing the pair to customize their day to their tastes and preferences. Parking is available, with overflow as well. There is only one event planned per day, and the couple has the day before and after the event for setting and cleaning up. We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding! The ceremony lawn is absolutely gorgeous, and it was surreal to be married surrounded by lush flowers and towering bamboo. The reception space is beautiful and modern looking with beautiful lighting and an abundance of plants that make the area feel so warm and inviting. During the event and well after, our guests were gushing over how unique and picturesque our venue was! Our absolutely favorite part of the venue was working with Jonathan and Jessie! They are so down to earth, sweet and incredibly accommodating and felt like instant friends. If you are on the fence on hiring the Wedding Crashers, DO IT! They were a huge hit with our guests and now my husband and I are plotting ways to get some goats of our own! 10/10 Recommend having your wedding at The Brothers Ranch! You will have incredible pictures and beautiful memories that will last a lifetime!

Dana. is. bomb! I knew she was going to be a good fit during our first phone call just because of her personality. Through the whole wedding process she kept checking on me which I appreciated so much. It was nice to be able to rant to someone about all that we were dealing with due to covid but she remained so positive! The wedding day came and she got right to work! She is definitely assertive but I think thats something that is needed!! She cracked jokes the whole time which we loved. Having to wrangle family/ wedding party to make sure you get all the shots and stay on time is not easy! I got my gallery yesterday and was floored. It was everything I hoped for and so much more... not one bad photo! I'd give her 10 stars if I could.

This October, I worked with Elope in Monterey to have a small wedding with my immediate family in attendance. I feel so unbelievably lucky that Catherine was my photographer! I showed up to my wedding without ever meeting Catherine, but her warmth and friendliness made me feel comfortable immediately. As someone who is pretty shy in front of the camera (same goes for my partner), I was surprised by how comfortable I felt in front of Catherine's lens. She really let us be ourselves and joyfully captured all the silliness that makes us who we are. I also really appreciated her helpful directions and tips for posing, which she always delivered kindly. Catherine really made us feel like she was so happy to be there and for me, that really made my experience so pleasant and memorable! Even though our package only included 60 minutes of photography, she never made us feel rushed and she really went the extra mile to get us a large variety of shots and made sure we had many photos in various configurations of our group! We just completed a large wedding with Tom and his super crew. We provided the catering and they handled the bar. Even though they had a huge rush for the bar Tom and his crew where able to fill the orders fast and efficiently while keeping a happy and friendly demeanor. At one point one of there staff offered us help if we needed. Great to see a crew that is doing everything possible to help teh event as a whole run smooth for the host. We wanted an intimate wedding and I was worried that a planner would not be as invested as they would for a larger wedding - that could not have father from the truth. Nadeen's artistic eye, natural talent and knowledge of photography created the most magical wedding and engagement photos we ever could have asked for, completely exceeding our expectations! We worked with Nadeen for about 8 months in 2023 leading up to our September wedding in Big Sur, CA. She was kind enough to meet us in person 7 months before the wedding for engagement photos (even on a rainy/windy day in Big Sur!) which helped us get to know her and become more comfortable with what to expect for being photographed on the actual wedding day. Nadeen did a great job guiding us on how to look natural for our photos and made us feel super comfortable being photographed. On our wedding day, Nadeen was there every step of the way and captured our day beautifully. I had read in a wedding magazine that you should hire a photographer who feels like a friend so that you are happy they are there on the day. Danieka met me for coffee in Monterey before we signed our contract and she was SO nice. Once we signed the contract, she started to send me recommendations for other vendors, suggested wedding timelines, and little pieces of advice she had picked up from other weddings (not too often - just 3-4 really informative emails throughout the year that we were planning and she was really responsive if I had questions). On the wedding day, she was prompt, really kind and struck an incredible balance between making sure that we had the pictures we wanted, but also that we were able to enjoy the day and not spend too much time taking pictures. I felt so happy she was there. Now, one week after our wedding, with just the pictures to look back on, we are SO happy that we booked her.

Sydalyn Hill, and its owners, Gwyn and Jon, are simply amazing. The venue itself is gorgeous and hidden in plain site. It's just a little bit off of Highway 9, but it feels like you've arrived in heaven when you get there. At the same time it is, paradoxically, expansive and yet completely intimate. I've dj'd there on a couple of occasions, and both times it felt like there was magic in there air. I know this is full of superlatives, but I can't say enough good things about this place. Gwyn and Jon are delightful and highly professional. They make sure everything is in place and have a high attention to detail. Both are extremely nice and easy to work with. Anyone considering getting married in the Santa Cruz area owes it to themselves to have a look at this gem.

From the moment he reached out in response to my project on Thumbtack, Mark worked hard to accommodate our needs. He made sure that we felt good about the menu before we booked with them. Many of our guests made comments to us about how much they enjoyed the food, and everyone (about 130 people) had as much to eat as they wanted with food left over. My only regret was that as the bride I didn't have the chance to eat as much of that AMAZING French toast as I wanted!

Flora Review From the moment we stumbled upon Flora Gibson’s portfolio, we were instantly captivated by her ability to capture raw emotion and breathtaking scenery. It was in that moment that our search for the perfect photographer was at an end. From our initial interactions with Flora, we felt an immediate sense of ease and connection. Her warm and friendly demeanor put us at ease, making it effortless to discuss our vision for our elopement. Flora’s professionalism was evident as she took the time to understand our story and what moments were most important to us to capture. We knew we were in good hands when Flora asked us personal questions about our relationship through a special questionnaire to get to know us even better. She was able to draw out the most intimate moments of our embraces and capture them so effortlessly. When we received the photos from Flora, with expediency, we were absolutely blown away. We got married at Chaminade in November 2023 and highly recommend the venue. We discovered the resort when happened to take my mom there for dinner to celebrate her birthday. Every member of the staff was kind and helpful. In fact, Christopher was able to give us an impromptu tour of the hotel rooms, banquet halls, and ceremony locations. Once we signed our contract, Rebecca and Lizzie helped plan the catering and day-of details which included the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception dinner. I felt very comfortable going into the wedding day and knew everything would be handled smoothly by the Chaminade team. I can't emphasize enough how kind and helpful every member of the team was throughout the event. We had so many guests comment that the food was outstanding - even months after the wedding! Sadly, my appetite was thrown off from the excitement of the day but the catering team offered me ginger ale and toast throughout the night. The venues were set up beautifully and we appreciated all that went into creating the settings for the ceremony, bar, and reception areas. Chaminade made our wedding day unforgettable and I am so thankful to the team for bringing all the details together!

The Hollins House is truly a dream come true. The venue itself is stunning— you don’t need to do much to make it the perfect setting for a wedding. Giselle and Bella, the event coordinators, were incredible. From our in-person meetings to email correspondence, they were always helpful, attentive, and on top of every detail. On the big day, I didn’t have to worry about a thing because I knew they had it all handled. The food was absolutely delicious and all our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! The chicken and waffle appetizer during the cocktail hour was a huge hit and the ham benedict was equally loved by everyone. Everything was simply beautiful, and I couldn’t have imagined a better wedding experience. I got married here recently and it was beautiful! It is very convenient having rooms on site to accomodate so many guests. You have to cater through the venue but their food is amazing. They use their own grass fed meats and were great about what food and drinks we wanted. While the venue does come with a few things like tables and chairs, you do have to pay to rent other items from them and a lot of the decoration will be DIY, but this can be a good thing if you want to personalize a lot of things! Owners are not too strict about things and are flexible. This can go both ways though - sometimes the planning was a bit difficult due to lack of communication with the venue. It would take a while to get answers, or they would forget some things I told them. Definitely recommend getting a day of planner to help since this is a large venue with lots of DIY and family around usually. Other than that though, everything turned out beautiful and guests were very happy with the views and rooms. They are reasonably priced and we were able to stay up late too! Perfect day :)

As a wedding planner, we see the behind-the-scenes operations of many different venues. I can confidently say The Club at Pasadera provides the best quality customer service and food service in the area. They are consistent with every event and we have done over 100 events at their location over the past 8 years. The back of the house staff has remained the same because they are all one happy family and it shows in the service they provide every one of our clients. Besides that the venue is stunning and will leave your guests feeling like they have been transported to another country. Another huge plus is their indoor spaces in case there is rain in the forecast and you do not want to pay an extra 20k for a tent last minute like you often have to do at other locations in the area. We LOVE The Club at Pasdera and highly recommend them to any couple looking to get married there.

My husband and I got married at Holly Farm in June 2024. We found the venue in October which gave us about 9 months to plan our wedding. Holly Farm made it relatively simple to piece together all the vendors due to their incredible and long lasting relationships. And while wedding planning is still stressful, what I didn't expect and was so very grateful for was feeling like I could hand everything over to them upon arrival for the wedding weekend and really feel like everything was in good hands (I did not have a wedding planner). I knew the venue was going to be beautiful but I did not expect to feel so at ease the entire weekend. I had the BEST time at my own wedding because the Holly Farm staff went above and beyond to take care of everything we could possibly need on our behalf. There was nothing they couldn't assist with. It was the most perfect weekend, and I could not recommend this venue more!

Holman ranch is truly the most gorgeous venue. The ceremony space is unbelievable and having the dinner in the rose garden was so magical and felt very intimate. Every corner of the property is absolutely gorgeous and being able to stay on the property for the weekend made all the difference in our experience. Our family and wedding party were able to stay with us for the entire weekend and it made it all the more special. Kerolos and Victoria are so amazing and fabulous to work with. They work so hard to make sure the weekend and day are perfect and they are so on top of everything. They’re super flexible with making changes to fit your vision and they think of every little detail. I highly recommended looking at Holman ranch for your wedding event!
