The Quechee Inn was absolutely the right choice for us. The staff was so attentive and helpful the entire weekend, from housekeeping, to the servers, bartenders, and everyone in between. They helped with some custom elements of our wedding like a private rehearsal dinner, entering the ceremony on a bike, and supporting guests with allergies in the menu/dinner service. All of our friends and family loved the quaint, cozy rooms. The landscaping was well cared for which helped make for the perfect backdrop to our entire event, including a wonderful outdoor cocktail hour. Would highly recommend booking this venue, we felt we got our money’s worth!

I cannot say enough positive things about the Rosewood Country Inn as a wedding venue. This venue is special in that you get the entire 11-room inn for the weekend (Fri-Sun), and so we were able to have our closest friends and family staying with us, which was a blast! The inn offers a beautiful country setting on the outside that is perfect for an outdoor ceremony. We held ours at the gazebo in the courtyard, which was surrounded by beautiful trees and scenery that make for gorgeous pictures. The dining hall of the inn hosts the reception, and is perfect for an intimate and stylish dining experience that then morphs a dance floor! The food is excellent (Stan's stuffed french toast can't be missed), not only for the reception but the rehearsal dinner and breakfasts on Sat and Sun. Stan and Odo are extremely kind and gracious hosts, who let us make our wedding truly our own!

My husband and I live out in Seattle, but we’re both from Massachusetts. We wanted somewhere in New England that has that rugged mountain landscape, but also somewhere everyone could join us for the whole weekend. I’m so obsessed with it here, can’t WAIT to come back! We used Meadows Edge Florals for our flowers/decorations, and I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Gayle and her team. We used Juniper Studios for photography and Angela and Idena’s talents are something I can’t even put into words. Best decisions I’ve ever made.

My husband and I got married at the Barn on the Pemi on 5/31/24, which works closely with the Common Man Inn & Spa. We had our room block, rehearsal dinner, and after party at the Inn, but I'm here to rave about our experience with the Spa! After booking our venue, I spoke to the Inn about any accommodations or recommendations they might have for somewhere for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready the morning of the wedding. They actually have what they affectionately call the "Getting Ready Room," which can be reserved ahead of time. I saw some pictures, saw that the room had some nice natural light, floor to ceiling mirrors and salon chairs, so I figured it was our best bet. Come wedding week and I went down to the spa with my bridesmaid to see the room and the pictures definitely did not do it justice! The room is large with a sitting area with a couch, table and chairs in the middle and salon-style chairs and mirrors around the perimeter. Our hair and makeup stylists were THRILLED with the setup, since they are used to cramped, poorly-lit hotel rooms for wedding prep! I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but want to add one more thing. The night before the wedding, one of my nails (done at a salon back home) broke and popped off - nightmare! I kept the broken piece and brought it to the Spa the morning of the wedding to see if they could help. The Spa staff went above and beyond to make sure my nails looked perfect. One of their nail techs sat in front of my while I was having my makeup done, glued the nail piece back on, and put a top layer of the. white french tip and clear coat shellac over all of my nails to make sure they all looked the same. I would highly recommend the Spa Getting Ready Room for the morning of your wedding - the space and the staff are fantastic!

We are a very laid back team of husband and wife running his family's 6th generation family farm. We are rustic but also a charming, authentic Vermont experience. The barn can become incredibly elegant for a more formal affair but can also look just perfect with some simple, personal accents. Some of the great things that people love about our venue is our relaxed vibe, we are a BYOB facility and we allow any and all outside vendors. We can house up to 50 guests in the 4 houses that are available on our property. We also allow camping anywhere on the 350 acre property and we have an awesome "glamping site" available for rent as well. We are a weekend rental with the ability to add on days before and after the event to prepare and to relax after. We also have no curfews and encourage you and your guests to party in the barn or around the firepit all night long.

We could not have been happier with our experience of getting married at Stickney Farms. Having our family and friends stay with us on site for the weekend was invaluable, the ceremony space by the river was beautiful, and the dance hall barn was the perfect setting for dinner and dancing late into the night. Jen was wonderful to work with, from the earliest days of booking the venue right through the wedding weekend. Jen was always clear and prompt with communication, which was incredibly helpful as we planned the big event and coordinated with other vendors. Our friends and family continue to tell us how wonderful the wedding and venue were, and we couldn't agree more! We're so grateful that Stickney Farms provided the space and support to make our wedding the incredible celebration it was.

What's more, the Barn provided everything we needed, sparing us the hassle of sourcing rentals. With tables, chairs, utensils, linens, and more included, it was just perfect, especially since we had decided on a short engagement. After our initial visit, I turned to my now-husband and said, "I loved it. Please tell me we don't have to go look anywhere else," and he just smiled. My dad couldn't stop raving about the expansive menu either; being a Common Man property, the food was amazing. Our guests agreed, saying it the best wedding meal they'd ever had. The Barn's staff were incredibly responsive throughout the planning process, even accommodating a second visit so our day-of coordinator could familiarize herself with the venue. With most of our vendors experienced at the Barn, coordination was seamless, ensuring a smooth and stress-free day. The Barn is a dog-friendly venue, which was perfect because we wanted dour dog to be part of our wedding. They require someone to be designated or hired as the dog's chaperone of course, but it was wonderful to have her there with us. Our venue coordinator, Carole, went above and beyond to ensure everything ran like clockwork. From working with our day-of coordinator to keep us on schedule to ensuring we were fed and hydrated, she was a godsend. Even when my dress needed bustling or my veil went astray, she was there to save the day. Transportation was also a breeze thanks to the Barn's trolleys, shuttling guests to and from nearby hotels effortlessly. In every way, our wedding day was incredible, and the Barn on the Pemi proved to be the perfect place to celebrate our special day.

The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring our special day went off without a hitch. First Zola review! The short and sweet review of this venue is that it was perfect. If it’s details you’re looking for, then we have those for you too. Prior to getting engaged, we had discussed what our ideal wedding day would look like and had both agreed that a mountain-top ceremony was what we both envisioned. For the moment we turned into the Pat’s Peak parking lot and saw the beautifully maintained grounds, rustic ski-village inspired buildings, and cozy lodge we had a feeling we had found our wedding venue. The wedding team at Pat’s Peak was incredible to work with, helping us through every single step and answering every question we threw their way. A huge standout to us as a couple was how accommodating they were of our requests and the level of personal touches we were permitted to do which made our day extra special. While it is of course important to hear what the bride and groom thought of the venue, an aspect we’d like to add to this review is what our guests thought. It’s been two weeks exactly since our wedding at Pat’s Peak and we’re still receiving non-stop compliments from our guests on the venue we chose. We opted for the summit ceremony and we will remember that chairlift ride and view from the top as we got married for the rest of our lives. The weather was perfect for us (which we know is not always the case) but a BIG reason we picked Pat’s Peak is because we liked the weather back up options that were provided to us. Our guests RAVED about the chairlift ride to the top for the ceremony and the scenic ride down for the reception. Special call out here for the lift operators who went above and beyond to be friendly and genuinely excited for our big day. As the bride and groom, we loved the ability to set up lawn games like giant Jenga and cornhole on the deck that provided the perfect environment for guests to enjoy a cocktail, mingle, and connect during cocktail hour and the reception. We opted for a buffet style meal, which provided more than enough food for our guest count of around 100. Everything from the apps, buffet dinner, s’mores bar and ice cream sundae bar was absolutely delicious. To wrap this review up, we’d like to call out Pat’s Peak staff including Brigid and Mary Beth. These two (including our bartenders, and the rest of the amazing staff) worked tirelessly in perfect coordination with our vendors to make sure our day was completely perfect and ran smoothly. We cannot thank them enough for all their help and hard work. Prior to our wedding, we had no connection or tie to Pat’s Peak but now, it will forever hold a special place in our hearts. If you’re considering Pat’s Peak and looking for a quaint, rustic, and inexplicably cozy wedding venue, we’ve found it.

Where do I start?! I think the pictures speak for themselves as to how gorgeous this venue is. When we were looking at venues in the fall of 2022, the minute we stepped foot into the Lakehouse at Owl’s Nest we knew it was our venue. Much has changed at Owl’s Nest over the last 20 months since we booked. Like other couples, this was exciting and also anxiety-provoking at times. The construction never seems to end with all of the additions to the property, but all of the changes just make ON an even more incredible destination. We loved the feeling of being at a resort for our wedding weekend and truly being at a destination, regardless of how far or close it was to home. We (and our guests) took full advantage of the restaurant, hot tub and pool, driving range, and the whole property itself. The golf course itself wasn’t open for our wedding since they don’t open it until May, but the driving range and simulators were more than enough for the golfers who came. The grounds are gorgeous (despite any ongoing construction). We have seen so many stunning photos of other couples and couldn’t wait for our turn! We were especially eager for gorgeous sunset photos. The weather and clouds didn’t necessarily work out for us, but that’s the risk anywhere. However, because we were at Owl’s Nest, we were able to still get out for additional photos as the sun was setting and they still turned out absolutely stunning thanks to the grounds and the views of the mountains! The lodging on site is great! A huge bonus for us was the ability to bring our dog to stay with us since they have pet friendly lodging options. My husband and I stayed in a deluxe nano unit, which had a full kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, bathroom, and lots of closets! Our dog especially appreciated the closed off deck so she could freely roam inside and outside of our house. Our friends and family stayed onsite in Gambrel, Contemporary, and Lakeside units, as well as the new hotel, and even some Air bnb rentals (right on the property)! Now last but not least for my ON review…HAYLEA was our coordinator and we LOVE her. Owl’s Nest assigns your coordinator about 6 months before your wedding date (and before that you work with the manager). From our first meeting with Haylea, every minor detail that we were stressed or nervous about was eagerly addressed by Haylea. She set up our venue from top to bottom exactly as I envisioned it, and assisted us through an insane amount of seating chart adjustments. She supported us through the planning process but was also SO helpful throughout our day, making sure we had everything we needed, making sure we ate and drank, keeping us on the timeline (and making adjustments as needed). We truly felt so at ease in her hands.

The Old Scott Barn truly is a venue like no other! Although the 1800s barn is fully restored, we made every effort to keep the original dairy barn features intact. The upstairs hay loft has a spectacular view of Signal Mountain which you will enjoy as you dance on the new wood floors beneath the old hay trolley above you. When you descend the wrap around stair case and enter the old milking parlor downstairs, you will see a stunning 30 foot live edge wood bar and new 20" wide pine flooring nestled in among the old cow stanchions and milking hardware. Abigail, Molly, Megan and the whole sugarbush team did an amazing job in our end of August wedding. Molly worked closely with us for 8 months, very professional, responsive and helpful in assisting us finding vendors and coordinating with vendors. She not only made detailed arrangements and timetables for wedding parties, also proactively reached out to photographer, DJ, florists and bakery to made sure everything is in place. We enjoyed our wedding day simply following Molly and Megan’s lead. Their team made everything smooth, especially when we encountered guest change and extra guest issue. Molly solved it super quickly. We also chose to reserved most of the rooms in the claybrook hotel so it is very convenient for welcome party and the wedding. We could not go up the mountain due to raining and windy but we had wedding on the grass. The photos came out so nice. Our guests gave us so many compliments. We highly recommend Sugarbush resort and very thankful for Molly and the whole team.

The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a cozy and quintessential Vermont feel that was exactly what we were looking for! Natalie was also onsite throughout our wedding ceremony making sure everything ran smoothly—which it did! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, stress-free, and memorable experience. It was so hard to begin to write this review because we have a book of amazing things to say about Lareau Farm. Being from Connecticut, my Husband and I accidentally found Lareau Farm Inn and fell in love with both the location and the staff. From the second we met Helen for our tour of the venue, she remained extremely helpful and easy to contact. What immediately grabbed our attention about this venue is that you can stay at the Inn for the weekend with your family and close friends. This was such a special weekend for us, we were surrounded by our bridal party and our direct families from Thursday to Monday. The Inn has beautiful land to walk around, a creek to swim in, and my younger sisters loved walking around to see the flowers. Even better, the breakfast at the Inn was delicious every single day (we say it is the best french toast we have ever had). Helen and the team at the Farm were accommodating with all of the ideas that we had. On Thursday we held an outdoor yoga class on the grounds of the Inn- it was peaceful and everyone had so much fun. We decided to have rehearsal dinner at the Historic Red Barn and it was beautiful. Helen has so much attention to detail, tables and decorations were spot on to what we had imagined. We opted for the American Flatbread at rehearsal dinner and our guests say it was the best flatbread they have ever had ( we even ordered extra later that night!). The best part about our wedding morning was that we had no worries because we knew that Helen and the team had everything under control. I was so calm, cool, and collected, on the wedding day morning and it was all due to everyone making the process so easy. As a bride who had every little detail planned out, Helen was able to place every decoration perfectly just by following little sticky notes I had left her. Helen was great at contacting our vendors and keeping everything going smoothly. We decided to have a food buffet for dinner, and we still have our guests talking about how good the dinner was, “ the best wedding food ever”, as they say. I think we went up for thirds at one point! One of our favorite parts of the night was sitting around the fire after our Reception, having s'mores , and watching the stars. Another plus of the venue location is that there are no street lights around, so star watching is spectacular. There was not one thing throughout our entire wedding weekend that went wrong, and nothing we would change. The venue is so beautiful, it makes for perfect pictures no matter where you are. If you are looking for a venue that is laid back, naturally beautiful, has delicious and fresh food, and kind staff, then LF is your place. A month after our wedding the farm surprised us with a painting of my bouquet as a gift- just another instance where they are so thoughtful! There is nothing better than enjoying coffee on the porch and the company of everyone you love on the day you get married. I wish we could give this venue more than 5 stars because they deserve it. Where do we even start? We just returned from our honeymoon and are still reveling in the most magical wedding weekend we could have ever had. It’s all thanks to Meesha at The Wilburton Inn. From the moment we came for our initial tour, Meesha was all you could want out of a wedding planner, as well as a friend who is thoughtful, kind, smart, and more than a joy to be around. She helped with every single aspect of our planning, and we trusted here word entirely — we couldn’t have been more happy with working with her! As to the venue, there is simply no better place to have a wedding. For context, my husband and I have big families. A lot of our family members were coming in from out of town and out of the country, so our priority was to have a wedding weekend where people could be together for more than one night. This is exactly what we got with the Wilburton. Our guests were able to play tennis, go hiking, go swimming, explore Manchester and, most of all, be together in the days leading up to the actual wedding. We reserved almost all of the houses on the property for guests to stay in, which created a laidback atmosphere as most people didn’t have to worry about driving back and forth or leaving at any point. As for the wedding night, it was pure magic. The food was perfect, the service was perfect, the weather (luckily) was also perfect, which was just the cherry on top. You cannot beat the people, the venue, and THE VIEWS!!! We wish we could do it all over again, but we are looking forward to visiting The Wilburton again for many, many years to come.
