My husband and I got married at Arrowwood on May 26. It was an absolutely amazing experience. We used not only the venue, but the add on services of coordination, decoration, and floral. Everything turned out exactly how I wanted it and I would describe the day as perfect. Every question that I had leading up to the day was answered quickly, kindly, and efficiently. Our coordinator, Bri, truly made the day so easy and fantastic. She was on top of everything from decorations, wrangling groomsmen, and making sure I was having a relaxing/ fabulous time. I could not be more thankful for her help and her guidance in making decisions and the wedding timeline. If you are considering using Arrowwood, do it!!

Woodsy Floral started by accident believe it or not. Flowers have always been a part of my husband and I’s marriage. Every Friday or every other Friday my husband, Lonnie would go get fresh stems from the floral shop down the road from our house. With crazy looks he grabbed them. This turned into me making arrangements for our events. When some of our friends saw these floral arrangements, they asked if we could make more for their events. We had one friend that owns a wedding venue, she brought up becoming a vendor for her brides. Well after a little bit of pressuring from Lonnie, we attended her open house as a floral vendor and LOVED IT.

When I began my search for a florist, I knew what type of style and colors I was looking for but I was worried about my budget and for the vision to be captured in that. I spoke to a couple florists who were dismissive and unhelpful. I contacted Lonnie and Monica after finding them on Zola and Lonnie was so informative and personable and helped me understand costs and how to make your vision work in your budget! He answered all my questions and every time we talked, he helped me so much. I was the bride and the coordinator and I was learning the wedding planning process, and Lonnie helped me through all of it. Lonnie and Monica were incredibly flexible and available when I needed to get a question answered. They went above and beyond with the communication, dedication and kindness. They helped me with the bud vases and candles at our reception and did absolutely stunning florals for the entire day. They exceeded by expectation and it gave me so much joy since the florals were one of the most important things to me on our vendor/wedding day list!! They stayed and helped set up and came back to clean up. They were so kind to everyone we worked with at the venue and all our other vendors. I felt so cared for and loved! He worked with my husband and I all throughout the process, from our initial call to receiving our wedding day photos. He's very communicative and we never felt like we were an inconvenience, no matter how many questions we had. Tyler's very professional, but also personable, so working with him was wonderful. He has great visions for photos and will let you know if something isn't working. We loved our engagement photos and all of our wedding photos. Our bridal party and family also commented on how great he was throughout our wedding day. We'd definitely recommend hiring Tyler if you're in the market for a photographer.

On the day of the wedding, the staff set everything up exactly how we wanted it, and they even allowed us to stay longer in the gorgeous house the day before the big day. The quality of their work and overall value was beautiful - the venue was exactly what we had envisioned for our special day. We absolutely LOVED The Springs Waxahachie! What a stunning venue! Chelsea and Michelle were wonderful to work with as well, answering my hundreds of questions along the way! We’ve had many compliments on how beautiful the venue was by all of our guests. It accommodated our 250 guest count perfectly. My biggest critique would be to have an easier system for all of the info they give, and ask for throughout the planning process. They have tons of PDFS and links and google forms and it just was too hard to keep track of it all at times. If they used Honeybook or another platform to keep it all in ONE central hub, that would be a DREAM for planning. Because of it, little things got missed, like neither my planner or I knew we needed table cloths for cocktail hour tables, I had no idea we had to purchase a separate package to have champagne in the bridal suite while getting ready etc.. Mid way through our planning, they offered a new DJ package which we went with and he ended up being awesome- however, we didn’t get to know who our DJ was or talk to him until about 2 weeks before the wedding- That was a bit stressful! Otherwise, I wish we could re-live our wedding day again and again at this venue! There’s no where else we could have imagined being married!

Kate and Rainflorist Designs were so great to work with. I got connected with Kate through my planner Gabi and communication with her was so easy. I could tell from the start that she was very skilled and knowledgeable when it came to all things flowers. She worked with me and my husband on figuring out the best flowers to work (and not work) with due to our allergies. Every little detail was taken care of and I had no worries when it came to my flowers. If people were to ask me how it was going with my florist, I’d say “I trust her 100%.” And she did amazing, we got so many compliments on our bouquets and table flowers! I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone for their wedding day!

Paul was wonderful! We booked him in February 2020 for our October 2020 wedding. He definitely knows what he is doing and is very professional. He has an online questionnaire so you can be as detailed as you want with song selections, genres, etc. He takes EVERYTHING into consideration and worked flawlessly with our wedding coordinator. I was a mostly hands-off bride about specific songs, but we had one (one!) phone call a few weeks before the wedding so he could better gauge my musical tastes, and he took it from there. The actual night was perfect! Despite masks and COVID, we had a pretty energetic dance floor, young and old. One guest even commented on how great the cocktail hour playlist was. On top of all that, Paul is so sweet and friendly and easy to work with! I hate when DJs have over the top performative personalities and always seem to be on the mic, so we were very low-key. Paul understood just what we wanted, worked with us for our style, and gave us the most perfect and memorable night.... for a very reasonable rate too! I highly recommend him to other couples!!

The staff at Aristide made our wedding planning so easy! Through this venue we were able to book packages that included vendors for our bakery, dj, stationary needs (invitations and signs), flowers, and even a luxury car exit! Each vendor reached out personally to us and helped make our visions come to life. Sydnee took care of us as our event coordinator and was so accommodating the entire time. She helped with all of our questions and was always quick with responding to our emails or text messages. Our day of coordinator, Kiana helped make the day run so smoothly which we really appreciated. As I was getting ready, I didn’t have to worry about any of the vendors, decorations, or timing because of how well organized she was and it brought so much relief on a day that is usually hectic. Lastly, but certainly not least, our DJ Aiden was really the star of the show for us and our guests! We got paired up with Aiden through the venue because of his vibe and he provided such a great energy! We got to have a meeting with him about specific songs we wanted and cues and he nailed everything we were looking for from my entrance into the ceremony to the very last song with our guests. He got everyone on the dance floor, it was never empty the entire night. We can’t thank this amazing staff enough!!

Michele did such a fantastic job. I'm typically a pretty low maintenance person- like blow-dried hair and tinted moisturizer are about as glam as I get- so, I really wanted a pro who could make me feel beautiful, but still myself. Michele delivered! We did a hair and make-up trial a couple of months before the wedding (pictured below). It was super helpful, because I realized that I wanted to do my hair slightly different and a more lightweight foundation. I felt perfect on my wedding day and my makeup looked fantastic all night. It was a hot day, so I worried I would have looked like a mess, but whatever makeup magic Michele did had me looking fantastic all day! Michele also did my mom and MIL's hair and makeup and they both looked beautiful. She's so sweet!

We were finally able to have our wedding reception at Magnolia Terrace and it was a delight! Corinne was so understanding and flexible with our wanting to push back our large celebration due to the uncertainty of COVID, and honestly that gave them time to implement some really beautiful upgrades to the venue. Marissa was an absolute pro and had our reception running so smoothly. She was really attentive to get my husband and I drinks and food in between pictures, and honestly having the coordinator included with the rental made things so easy on us. The venue itself is gorgeous-- our photographer couldn't stop pulling us to take pictures in new spots because the inspiration didn't stop coming haha. The fact that a majority of the venue is covered is really awesome (thankfully we had clear skies), and the owners have done such a good job with the attention to detail. It manages to feel really intimate even when you've got 50+ people attending. The dance floor was a great size for our guests who wanted to let loose, but not so overwhelmingly large that it was intimidating. If you're planning an event with under 100 people, this is absolutely the best value in DFW. With the decor, coordinator, and most of the rentals included it took so much off our to-do list that I can't imagine why people get married anywhere else. The location is so surprising-- it's a gorgeous hidden gem in the middle of downtown Frisco. We can't recommend Magnolia Terrace enough!!
