We would like to recommend Ashley VanderTol for this award. She was extreamly easy to work with. She made me and my bride feel at ease during the whole wedding day. She was also very quick with taking photos. We never felt like there was any waisted time. She also got us our preview and bulk photos very quickly. We had another photographer booked before we booked Ashely and had a number of different issues to the point we had to let that photographer go. Ashely was recommened to us from a friend of ours and we could not have been happier with this turn of events. I have purchased several orders, a combo of decorated cookies and cakes. The craftsmanship of the items I have purchased are top notch. Not only do the goodies look amazing, they are delicious as well! This vendor is so easy to work with and she works with you to design the perfect product. The ordering website is very easy to navigate. After ordering, the website will send reminders for final payment and pickup details, plus texting directly was always an option. Everything comes packaged carefully and decorated with Love Sugar stickers, tissue paper, etc., which elevates the final product. Love Sugar is simply the best!

My husband and I got married at Arrowwood on May 26. It was an absolutely amazing experience. We used not only the venue, but the add on services of coordination, decoration, and floral. Everything turned out exactly how I wanted it and I would describe the day as perfect. Every question that I had leading up to the day was answered quickly, kindly, and efficiently. Our coordinator, Bri, truly made the day so easy and fantastic. She was on top of everything from decorations, wrangling groomsmen, and making sure I was having a relaxing/ fabulous time. I could not be more thankful for her help and her guidance in making decisions and the wedding timeline. If you are considering using Arrowwood, do it!!

Woodsy Floral started by accident believe it or not. Flowers have always been a part of my husband and I’s marriage. Every Friday or every other Friday my husband, Lonnie would go get fresh stems from the floral shop down the road from our house. With crazy looks he grabbed them. This turned into me making arrangements for our events. When some of our friends saw these floral arrangements, they asked if we could make more for their events. We had one friend that owns a wedding venue, she brought up becoming a vendor for her brides. Well after a little bit of pressuring from Lonnie, we attended her open house as a floral vendor and LOVED IT.

When I began my search for a florist, I knew what type of style and colors I was looking for but I was worried about my budget and for the vision to be captured in that. I spoke to a couple florists who were dismissive and unhelpful. I contacted Lonnie and Monica after finding them on Zola and Lonnie was so informative and personable and helped me understand costs and how to make your vision work in your budget! He answered all my questions and every time we talked, he helped me so much. I was the bride and the coordinator and I was learning the wedding planning process, and Lonnie helped me through all of it. Lonnie and Monica were incredibly flexible and available when I needed to get a question answered. They went above and beyond with the communication, dedication and kindness. They helped me with the bud vases and candles at our reception and did absolutely stunning florals for the entire day. They exceeded by expectation and it gave me so much joy since the florals were one of the most important things to me on our vendor/wedding day list!! They stayed and helped set up and came back to clean up. They were so kind to everyone we worked with at the venue and all our other vendors. I felt so cared for and loved! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

Mr. Burris was a perfect Event Host for our wedding. He was very flexible when it came to what we wanted for our ceremony and reception. He was also a huge benefit in helping us plan the wedding; he did so by bringing up things we had not considered and also brought a new perspective that helped my wife and I when it came to deciding on microphones and recording for our wedding video. Throughout the planning process, Mr. Burris met with us regularly to discuss our plans, and directly communicated with ourselves, family, wedding coordinator, and all of the vendors involved in our ceremony. During the ceremony, Mr. Burris was punctual, dependable and professional. He arrived to the venue early and set up all equipment without delay. Our ceremony was carried out without audio difficulties and the reception had a great atmosphere thanks to his efforts. I found Stunning and Brilliant Events as a preferred vendor from the venue we had booked with. Michelle Peska reached out to me to schedule a phone call and I really enjoyed talking with her. I think the main difference between her and another wedding planner I spoke with was that Michelle asked WAY more questions to get to know myself, my fiancé, our story, and how we envisioned our day. Michelle is very knowledgable and sweet. She definitely has a lot of experience and it shows when you are working with her to plan your event. She always seemed like she was one step ahead of me- as it should be :) I think my favorite part of hiring someone to help me with the wedding was that 30 days out she took over all of the communications with the vendors coordinating everything, which alleviated a lot of mental stress for me that I wouldn't have to worry about any of that. Wedding day- she was super helpful and I'm sure she handled plenty of problems that came up that I knew nothing about, which is exactly what you want your wedding planner doing! I 1000% think it is worth it to hire someone to help you plan your wedding and I'm so glad I did!

Maie Florals was the florist for my wedding and Courtney was an absolute dream to work with. She really cared about my vision and she executed it perfectly! She took the time to understand what I wanted and she was very prepared and professional during all of our discussions. She helped me think through all of the details and just made the whole process really easy. Planning a wedding is quite overwhelming, but Courtney really put me at ease and she was the best vendor I worked with. JASON is AMAZING! My now husband and I were not sure if we could afford a photographer for our wedding but we pulled through and we are so incredibly happy with jason and his work! We were finally able to have our wedding reception at Magnolia Terrace and it was a delight! Corinne was so understanding and flexible with our wanting to push back our large celebration due to the uncertainty of COVID, and honestly that gave them time to implement some really beautiful upgrades to the venue. Marissa was an absolute pro and had our reception running so smoothly. She was really attentive to get my husband and I drinks and food in between pictures, and honestly having the coordinator included with the rental made things so easy on us. The venue itself is gorgeous-- our photographer couldn't stop pulling us to take pictures in new spots because the inspiration didn't stop coming haha. The fact that a majority of the venue is covered is really awesome (thankfully we had clear skies), and the owners have done such a good job with the attention to detail. It manages to feel really intimate even when you've got 50+ people attending. The dance floor was a great size for our guests who wanted to let loose, but not so overwhelmingly large that it was intimidating. If you're planning an event with under 100 people, this is absolutely the best value in DFW. With the decor, coordinator, and most of the rentals included it took so much off our to-do list that I can't imagine why people get married anywhere else. The location is so surprising-- it's a gorgeous hidden gem in the middle of downtown Frisco. We can't recommend Magnolia Terrace enough!!

The RoseMary is the perfect clean slate! I wanted a very modern style wedding, but with a country feel and this was perfect! I did the all-inclusive package that came with all my vendors and not only did it make everything so stress free, but it saved me a lot of money too! I could not recommend this venue enough!
