With a background in fine arts and experience photographing weddings nationwide, I specialize in candid, natural-light photography using an unposed, stress-free approach. I love the storytelling aspect of photography. Photographs allow us to freeze a moment in time so that it can be remembered and relived years down the road. I started my journey in photography over 20 years ago and I'm lucky that I'm allowed to help so many couples tell and retell their wedding story. Weddings are full of small moments that deserve to be captured and remembered. From the early morning laughter as the bride fights with the champagne cork to make mimosas to the tears rolling down dad's face during the first dance... With over eight years of project management and event planning experience, Sidney brings a new perspective to celebrations. She began planning events as a college student for her campus activities board where she helped plan all events from open mic nights to spring concerts. In addition to her work on campus, Sidney also assisted a local upscale restaurant with weddings and events. After college, Sidney spent her free time apprenticing and learning alongside Atlanta-based wedding and events planners.

Her designs are inspired by the wild and natural environments around her.

My style is documentary/editorial. I love an image that looks like it was taken on a film camera, and I'm a huge fan of the modern-day blur. However, I know it's important to get the MUST grab traditional photos if the couple want's them! I'm a huge fan of flash photography as well as natural light. I've been taking photos for seven years while I have owned my own wedding band that has performed all throughout the south. I think it's important to laugh and it's even more important that you feel like you look your best.

Hi, I am MirShanda the owner and chef of Kismet's Cakes located in Decatur, Ga. Growing up with a love of all things sweet and beautiful I found myself seeking a way to express myself both in the kitchen and artistically. Eventually, I found a way to combine my love of pastry and art. I decided to enroll at the Art Institute of Atlanta where I earned my degree in Culinary Arts with a concentration in baking and pastry. After graduating I worked for a short time in a bakery located in the Buckhead area and then chose to go into my business for myself.
