A piece of history… The Cool Springs House has a long and colorful history. In 1830, James and Penelope Barfield Carothers built the original two log rooms of the Cool Springs House located at what is presently the intersection of Mallory Lane and Cool Springs Boulevard. Many years later, the house had major renovations done to it by adding the second story, the downstairs hall, and the front porch. “Let me tell you - CSH was EXACTLY what I was looking for on my big day. It is a beautiful blank canvas for any brides who have a specific vision (um, hi. im the problem its me). The venue is stunning, it's unique and spacious and feels so personal and the staff are exactly as helpful as you need them to be!! I am someone who prefers to have folks out of my hair who just let me goooooo. And they really were that. The venue was also more affordable for the whole weekend than the other places I looked at for 6hrs. Which made the entire difference to me.”

The property features 10 acres of farmland and pasture as well as a pond for several photo opportunities. Chic and refined, this setting provides couples with the ability to celebrate their milestone moment surrounded by countryside splendor.

“The team at The White Dove Barn was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They were easy to communicate with, super organized, and their website had tons of helpful resources that made planning our wedding a breeze. On the day of, everything felt magical - the space was big and beautifully aesthetic, and the outdoor ceremony pavilion was simply stunning. The team worked tirelessly to get everything set up, and they were all so friendly and accommodating. Our wedding planner, Caroline, was fantastic and really helped make our day special. The only downside was that the inside of the barn was quite hot, but overall we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend The White Dove Barn to any couple looking for a gorgeous, well-run wedding venue.”

“This review is truly difficult to write. If you are looking for overpriced venue options, this place is NOT for you. If you are used to complacent involvement in your event, this place is NOT for you. HOWEVER, if you are looking for stress-free, selfless service, beautiful surroundings, staff who go above and beyond to assist in meeting any needs you may have, then this IS the place for you! Not to mention that the owners, Craig & Rachel, personally work tirelessly to be sure that every detail is perfectly in place for your event. I had the honor of working with Craig & Rachael as a wedding coordinator for a small wedding in August. Things were a bit tricky as we were coming in from out of state. They patiently addressed all of our questions and concerns, ensuring we could trust that everything would be ready and in place. They were also understanding of last minute situations and changes. While everything was handled in a professional manner, they always made us feel more like family than business clients. Not only did they open up the use of their facilities, but opened up their hearts to us on a very personal level. The property is breathtaking, no matter which “site” you choose for your event. The food is delicious, no matter which “option” you choose. The staff is caring and serving, making anyone feel like “royalty”. As I said in the opening statement, this review is just difficult to write. It is difficult because there are just no words to convey the depth of gratitude and appreciation for all they did to provide our young couple and their families the perfect day to remember. If you are anywhere within a day’s drive to this beautiful, fairytale place, it is absolutely worth it. Jump on this quickly as once word gets out about this venue, they will be slammed with bookings. You know how they say something is “too good to be true”? Well, Rye & Revelry, and Craig & Rachael are the exception in that all that sounds too good to be true really is true. Thank you for everything!”
